Paso Robles Wine Tour 2009 (upcoming)

We went up to Paso Robles on a very nice wine weekend with cousins Vas & Teri.  The weather was perfect (except for VERY cold nights -- below freezing).  The wineries we visited (8!) were fantastic and the B&B was awesome (see Central Cal Eats for a small review)!

Western Caribbean Cruise 2008 (upcoming)

Our first cruise to the Western Caribbean.  We had a grand time!  Many thanks to Susan for setting this one up!  We met some wonderful people and had loads of fun everywhere.

We to Scotland and celebrated some more for our anniversary.  We helped out at the first ever Music Night in Portencross (to benefit the castle).  We went to new places and saw wonderful sites.  We also stayed at some nice B&Bs on Arran!

For our anniversary, we did a Nevada/Utah trip.  This was a whirlwind tour!  We stayed in Vegas the first few days and took in a show ('O' by Cirque du Soleil) and did more touristy stuff (except gamble).  Other stops on our journey included parts of Utah, Area 51, and more!

We went driving thru parts of the Southwest (Arizona and New Mexico).  Lots of beautiful scenery!  We saw lots of national/state parks and various other places including the International UFO Museum in Roswell.  The Grand Canyon is just that; GRAND!  Carlsbad Caverns was almost indescribable and the bats were way cool!  I've posted a slideshow of a few places and a bat movie (big file).

	Northern California 2005
		We went to northern California in July and stayed at quite a few towns — Pleasanton, Eureka, San Rafael, San Jose, and Monterey.  We visited quite a few more (Arcata-HSU, Trinidad, Santa Rosa, Santa Cruz)  Plus, we made a lot of stops in the Humboldt Redwoods State Park.
	Monterey/SLO 2005
		We went on a short driving trip to Monterey and San Luis Obispo in early April.  It was a very nice drive with beautiful weather and awesome scenery! We stayed at the Apple Farm in San Luis Obispo (a country-style inn that had a quaint elegance and nice little touches!  Here they are... Rocky's trip pics!
	Oahu 2004
		Oahu was awesome!  Waves were huge on North Shore.  The weather was perfect.  Met Wyland who was totally stoked to meet a Sharky!
	NorCal Wedding 2004
		We went to our cousin's wedding (a Fantasy/Medieval/Renaissance affair) held on May Day.  They even had a maypole dance.  Most of the gentles were dressed in garb and a fun time was had by all!
	Scotland 2003
		In 2003, we went for Christmas and Hogmanay.  The weather was a bit gloomy but we still had fun and met more new people. We got in a few new places made it to another castle!  We'd like to return to a few of these places since some of them were closed at the time (Dunoon Castle Museum, for one).
	Maui 2003
		This was our first visit to Maui.  We went with the Cooks and had a blast!  We went on a whale watching trip that was excellent and even got to hear the whale's songs.  We went to the top of Haleakala for sunrise (this is a must!)  We went into Lahaina for the touristy things and went back for Art Night (yes, we bought someart).
